November greetings

Time sure does fly bye, Our daughters are almost completed the first marking period in school and they are both doing very well! Kristina is having a blast in fourth grade at her new school, Shallow Brook Intermediate and Lindsey is enjoying her Senior year at Northeastern High School. Lindsey is busy planning trips to visit various colleges she might like to attend next fall. Kristina is finishing her soccer season and starting NEYSA Basketball. Her practices started on Monday. Kristina also is beginning to play the violin in school. They are both anxious for the break they will get at Thanksgiving. It is hard to believe Christmas is fast approaching. Bye.

October greetings!

Wow! It is October! Sorry, I have been lax in writing. The girls are so busy, though and I try to stay involved with their schools as much as possible. Plus they are both playing a sport this fall. Lindsey is playing field hockey and Kristina is playing NEYSA soccer. Go Bobcats! I will write again later in the month when I get a chance. Bye

School's out for the summer!

Yes, the school year 2006-2007 is over and the summer vacation begins. And the weather is nice and the pool is open and we are having a great time. I did hear one daughter complain she was bored, I think she needs a job. We are still geocaching and we reached 200 finds a week or so ago. Conewago Violets is being visited occasionally and we are thinking of a new cache to hide. Visit Geocaching.com for more information. It is a lot of fun.

Crazy March weather

Hey! This is some crazy March weather. The
temperature got up close to 80 degrees
yesterday. And we have seen a bunch
of robins flying around our house. And
believe it or not the weather people are
calling for a snow watch tomorrow! It is just
crazy.

March snow!

Hey! It happened, we got about 4 inches of
light fluffy snow overnight. It was enough to
cause all of the county's schools to close for
the day! I don't think spring is coming
early after all. March is going to be cold.

March storm!

The east coast is calling for some more SNOW! Can you
believe it? A March snow storm is coming our way! I
think I heard we may get 1 to 4 inches of light fluffy
snow by morning! That is exciting. Winter is still holding
on tight. The leprechaun must be confused. That's ok!
We will let you know how we make out this time. Think
Snow! Think Snow!

Snow Storm!

Hey I believe they are forecasting a snow storm. I think the weather may get a little warm and cause freezing rain to knock down our snow total. We welcome any snow we get even this late in the winter. We still need you to think Snow! How about those poor people in northwest New York. I can't imagine 100 inches or more snow. That must be some experience. We would be glad for 6 inches. Happy shoveling!

February!!!

Wow!   Its February, lets see if the groundhog is correct. We actually got about a  3/4 inch of snow this morning. We were pleasantly surprised. And the weather is very cold so it shouldn't melt too fast.   We wish everyone a Happy Valentine's Day!  We are still thinking Snow Snow Snow!!!

Happy New Year, 2007!

Happy New Year, 2007! Can you believe it! 2006 is over. We didn't get any snow either. Let's hope we get some in January! We had a good Christmas otherwise. And we traveled at the end of the year to upstate New York. And they didn't have snow either when we got there. I guess Colorado got hit with all the snow! I haven't heard from anyone out West to know if they had snow for Christmas. Well we will keep on hoping. Think snow! Think snow!
